Senior Maintenance Mechanic – 2nd Shift (Relocation Available)
Food Manufacturing | Greater Boston, MA
We are hiring an experienced Senior Maintenance Mechanic to join a high-performing food manufacturing facility in the Greater Boston area. This is a full‑time 2nd shift role offering competitive hourly pay, monthly bonuses, and full relocation assistance.
Pay: $36–$50/hr (based on experience) + monthly bonuses
Shift: 2-2-3 rotating schedule | 5:00 PM – 5:15 AM
Location: Greater Boston, MA
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair automated packaging lines, conveyors, PLC‑controlled equipment, motors, and robotics
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in a food‑grade manufacturing environment
- Use CMMS to document work orders and maintenance activity
- Read electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
- Support equipment installations and continuous improvement efforts
- Mentor junior maintenance technicians
- 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience (food, beverage, or pharma preferred)
- Strong electrical, PLC, VFD, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
- GMP / cGMP experience
- CMMS experience
- MA Fireman 2 License and/or Ammonia Operator 1 preferred
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
