The Accounting Manager supports senior leadership in overseeing day-to-day accounting and finance operations. This position is responsible for accurate financial reporting, managing a small team, and contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements. The role also includes analytical support for strategic decision-making and ensures compliance with internal controls and external reporting standards.

• Cash Flow Oversight - Monitor daily cash activity, prepare short-term cash forecasts, and elevate discrepancies to leadership.
• Financial Reporting - Create and review monthly and quarterly reports; assist in year‑end close activities.
• Budgeting & Forecasting - Partner with department leads to gather budget data, track performance, and provide variance analysis.
• Audit Support - Coordinate external audit efforts and prepare documentation for tax, insurance, and retirement plan audits.
• Process Improvements - Identify ways to enhance efficiency through updated accounting practices and systems.
• Ad-Hoc Analysis - Deliver financial insights and reports in response to management needs.

• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting/ERP systems
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Ability to work effectively under deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Responsible for supervising selected finance personnel, which may include:

• Accounts Payable Specialist
• Accounts Receivable Specialist
• Payroll Specialist

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience is preferred

• CPA or CMA certification is a plus
• Familiarity with Acumatica ERP software
