VP, Plant Controller

Job Description

• Provide financial leadership and strategic oversight for plant operations, partnering with executive leadership to drive profitability and operational performance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and financial reporting processes for the manufacturing facility.
• Analyze production costs, labor, overhead, inventory, and variances to identify improvement opportunities and protect margins.
• Oversee internal controls, compliance, and audit processes to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence within a food manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to support capital investments, continuous improvement initiatives, and long-term growth strategies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA and/or MBA preferred).
• 8+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including leadership within a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing strongly preferred).
• Strong expertise in cost accounting, standard costing, inventory management, and plant-level financial analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is a plus but not required.
• Proven leadership capability with strong analytical, communication, and strategic decision-making skills.
