Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver to join our successful client based in the Norwich NR5 area
. Our client who specializes in Waste Management is transforming waste into valuable resources and lessening its impact on the environment.

A minimum 3 months experience within last 6 months in HGV Class 2 driving is essential.

Pay rate: £14.50 per hour, weekly pay in arrears, every Friday

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 6.00 am till 3pm

The right person will be responsible for driving the refuse lorry and assisting loaders with collecting/emptying bins from residential premises, returning them where necessary, and ensuring all additional work and missed bins are completed.

• Drive and operate a Class 2 dust car, refuse lorry, or bin lorry
• Collect refuse from a different local area each day of the week
• Ensure completion of all additional work and missed bins
• Assist with manually moving domestic wheelie bins
• Maintain awareness of other vehicles or people on the road and operate the lorry safely

• UK HGV Class 2 driving license (minimum 12 months)
• Digital tachograph card & CPC card
• Good team working skills and good communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced, dynamic work environment
• Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage.
