Driver Hire Norwich is looking for experienced Class 2 HIAB Drivers to support a variety of well established builders' merchants, construction suppliers and timber distribution clients. This role offers ongoing temporary work with flexible shifts and opportunities for temp-to-perm placements.

• From £18.75 per hour (Umbrella Assignment Rate)

We have consistent demand for skilled HIAB drivers across the  area. Your work will typically involve operating remote or manual brick grabs and hook attachments to safely load and unload materials on construction sites and at residential addresses. You'll need confidence manoeuvring the crane in restricted areas and a strong focus on safety at all times.

• Carry out safe deliveries and collections
• Operate HIAB equipment in line with training and site rules
• Maintain accurate paperwork
• Follow all site health and safety procedures
• Keep clear and compliant records of driving and working hours

• Full UK Class 2 (Category
  
  C) licence
• HIAB certificate
• Valid CPC &
  Digital Tacho Card
• Ideally 12 months Class 2 experience
• Maximum 6 penalty points (no CD, IN, DD, DR codes)
• Strong understanding of Drivers' Hours &
  Working Time Regulations
