We are motivated to find the best talent in the Logistics & Distribution industry. Right now, we are looking for a Pet Delivery Driver to join our Pet Delivery Team in the Norfolk area.
The RoleAs a Pet Delivery Driver you need to be flexible in terms of duties and hours, and wish to work with the Pet Delivery team delivering pets into stores. You will report to the Pet Delivery Manager (First Line Manager) and interact with the wider Pet Operations Management team, Pet Health Checkers, Store Colleagues and other drivers within the Pets at Home Transport Team.
Shifts can be flexible, with the opportunity for overtime (up to 48 days) covering other team members, though this is not contractual.
- Previous experience driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle – ideally a box van.
- Methodical and meticulous follow a set of processes which are safety and animal welfare centric.
- A careful and considerate driver who is willing to go the extra mile both on and off the road.
- Conducting driver checks before starting the engine.
- Conducting store deliveries.
- Driving and delivering with care, keeping animal welfare at the forefront, always legal and safely, ensuring our reputation for excellence includes animal welfare transportation.
- Van maintenance coordination.
- Use of phone apps to complete process checks.
- Demonstrated understanding of customer support and satisfaction.
- Previous or current owner or comfortable with close contact of small animals.
- Full, clean driving licence is preferable.
- Flexible to do a variety of work.
- Friendly, helpful and eager to deliver great results with the team.
