Position: Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) Practitioner

Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) Practitioner

The Magdalene Group is a well-respected, award-winning, innovative women-only organisation, established in 1994, providing trauma- and gender-informed services with the violence against women and girls (VAWG) agenda at the heart of all that we do.

Are you passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives? Do you have strong empathy, resilience and a commitment to supporting those affected by trauma? Are you experienced at safeguarding? We are looking for someone to join our young people’s service to support children and young people throughout Norfolk who have been identified by child sexual exploitation (CSE).

This will involve:

· Supporting young people to recognise and maintain healthy relationships through 1:1 and group therapeutic work ensuring they feel heard, understood and supported.

· Act as a Safeguarding Point of Contact for the team to support them with day to day safeguarding concerns.

· Having a willingness to learn, good communication, active listening, resilience and empathy.

· A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.

Salary range: £26,500 - £28,000 per annum (full-time equivalent).

Hours of work: Minimum 30 hours per week, up to 37.5 hours per week. Flexibility will be required with occasional early mornings, late evenings.
