Smart Meter Engineer

Overview

We are currently looking for Smart Meter Engineers for our client. There are a number of opportunities available and we are looking for candidates based in Slough, Reading, Twickenham & Hemel Hempstead areas. They provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation. This role will be within the Metering team, you’ll join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, and provide efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters.

• As an engineer, you will form part of the Metering team that provides a wide range of services from Smart installations, Investigating non-communicating smart meters and, emergency and maintenance appointments. Do you enjoy working on your own, chatting to customers and meeting new people?

Customer service is top priority. You’ll make sure that all jobs are completed on time and our customers are provided in-depth explanations of the benefits and safe usage of their new meter. You’ll also be responding to emergencies, restoring power or gas when customers need it the most. Do you like meeting new people, and helping make a difference to their lives?

• Valid UK driving licence
• You must have held your licence for 1 year and have less than 6 points.
• Do you have a CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3, or hold an NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering Dual Fuel? Are you experienced installing gas and electric smart meters?
• Have you got previous MOCOPA experience?

On target earnings of up to £50k+

• 30-33 days (including bank holidays)
