The below job description will outline this position of:
Fire Alarm Engineer

Typically, this person will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and commissioning of fire alarm systems across a range of commercial, domestic, and construction sites. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong fault-finding skills and a good understanding of current fire safety standards.

Duties and responsibilities of the Fire Alarm Engineer:

* Installation of fire alarm systems (conventional and addressable)

* Servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of fire alarm systems

* Commissioning and handover of completed installations

* Carrying out works in line with BS5839 regulations

* Working on temporary and permanent installations across various sites

* Completing job documentation and reports accurately and on time

Qualifications and requirements for the Fire Alarm Engineer:

* Minimum 5 years’ experience within fire alarm installation and maintenance

* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

* Knowledge of current fire safety standards and regulations (BS5839)

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Good communication and customer-facing skills

* Full UK Driving Licence
