Fire Extinguisher Engineer

Overview

Our client is a leading fire protection company providing fire detection and suppression equipment and, due to their continued expansion, Staffbase has been appointed to recruit for the position of Fire Extinguisher and Alarm Engineer.

As a field service engineer you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance and inspection of fire extinguishers and alarm systems in the East of England.

• Repair and fault find fire suppression and alarm systems.
• Replace failed and faulty devices.
• Replace extinguishers and Fire Safely ancillary products, emergency signage etc.
• Upsell and cross‑sell Fire Safely ancillary products.
• Schedule your own works daily/weekly.

You will be an experienced Fire Extinguisher or Alarm engineer with at least three years experience. This is a superb opportunity to train and upskill to become a fire alarm and emergency lighting engineer as our client will provide full training.

Must have BAFE certification for work on fire extinguishers. Must hold a UK driving licence with a maximum of six points.

Excellent basic salary + bonus + commission OTE £42K‑£48K
