Overview We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our Norwich workshop on a straight days, Monday–Friday shift. • Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs to DVSA standards
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults
• Complete inspections, safety checks, and preventative maintenance schedules
• Perform brake overhauls, clutch work, suspension repairs, and engine diagnostics
• Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and within allocated times
• Maintain workshop standards, tools, and equipment
• Accurately complete job cards, service sheets, and inspection reports
• Work collaboratively with the workshop team and support colleagues when needed

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Proven experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
• Good understanding of DVSA compliance and inspection standards
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential)
