Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking an experienced Engineer to work as a member of the Mitie Fire & Security Systems Operations Field service team. You will ensure effective delivery of PPM, reactive calls and additional small works, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

• Carry out routine servicing, testing, inspection, repairs and installation of fire alarms, CCTV, access control and intruder alarm equipment to the relevant legislative and qualitative standards.
• Maintain documentation and records promptly and accurately.
• Execute fault‑finding techniques as part of reactive calls and small works.
• Actively attend and participate in company‑initiated training to maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge.

• Experience in the fire & security systems industry, carrying out PPM, reactive calls and small works.
• Service test and inspection experience to relevant standards/codes.
• Ability to follow health and safety legislation and perform fault‑finding techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and basic Microsoft Word and Excel literacy.
• Capability to work to high health and safety requirements and to work with little supervision.

• Previous experience with PPM, accident reporting or RAMS.
• Experience in the engineering field preferred.
