Visitor Services Safety and Security Supervisor Contract Type

Permanent, part‑time 20‑hour contracts, shift basis, 3 or 4 days a week, including evenings and weekends.

We are open to applicants seeking more than 20 hours per week.

As a key member of our front‑of‑house team, Safety & Security Supervisors will play an important role in both the safety and security of our buildings and the people using them, and the overall visitor welcome and experience. While on shift you will greet customers and look after them during their visit. In the event of an incident or emergency you will support the Visitor Services Duty Manager to follow procedures and ensure the safety of our guests.

Covering both front and back‑of‑house areas, you will be vigilant for any safety or security risks and follow best practice to de‑escalate and resolve any issues that arise.

With excellent customer skills and a natural welcoming and professional manner, you will have experience in a customer‑facing role involving safety and security and be used to working with the general public and resolving conflicts. This role requires you to hold a valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence; we will provide training and funding to enable you to obtain this if you do not currently hold it.
