Taverham Veterinary Practice is a small‑animal practice ideally located between the vibrant city of Norwich and the beautiful North Norfolk coast. The location offers easy access to rivers and lakes for boating and nature, and fantastic transport links to Cambridge, London, Liverpool, Manchester and Nottingham.

We have a large and supportive team: 33 vets, 37 RVNs, 4 SVNs, 9 ANAs, 43 additional support staff. Our certificates include Internal Medicine, Surgery (Soft Tissue and Orthopaedic), Diagnostic Imaging, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Dentistry, and Emergency & Critical Care. We support Street Vet and other local charities and host social events.

We are an RCVS‑accredited hospital with PSS awards and outstanding facilities, including an in‑house laboratory, ultrasound, digital and dental X‑ray, endoscopy, laparoscopy and a brand‑new CT scanner.

Average of 40 hours per week, variable shift times (including weekends and twilight hours). No on‑call requirement. Dedicated shadowing and training days, participation in charity surgery day every eight weeks, support from a GDP Advisor, monthly reviews, pastoral mentor and a second‑year buddy.
