Boat Builder

Broadreach is currently working with a well‑established and respected marine manufacturer to recruit an experienced Boat Builder to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional boat building environment where quality craftsmanship and attention to detail are highly valued.

You will be involved in the build and fit‑out of high‑quality vessels, working across both interior and exterior stages of production. The role requires strong hands‑on ability, precision, and experience working from technical drawings.

• Installing deck and sailing hardware
• Fitting bulkheads and structural components
• Interior joinery and furniture fitting
• GRP/fibreglass component installation
• Installing windows, hatches and deck fittings
• Basic upholstery and finishing work
• Fairing, finishing and quality checking

• Experience with in boat building or a similar manufacturing environment
• Confident working with timber and composite materials
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
• High attention to detail
• Positive attitude and team‑focused approach

Marine industry experience is desirable, but candidates with transferable skills from similar sectors will also be considered.
