TIG Welding and fabrication

Position: TIG Welding and fabrication role (Contract)
Role – TIG welder and fabricator
Location – Long Stratton, Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm
Rate of pay – Up to £18.75 per hour
Capacity of role – Permanent position

Our client is currently seeking an addition to their workshop team with a welder and fabricator.
Candidates will ideally be time served and happy to work onsite as and when the business requires.

Main duties will include –
 Carrying out stainless steel welding practises to manufacture components
 Cutting materials into the required shapes, checking dimensions and thicknesses
 Welding or joining metal and other materials into a wide range of structures
 Following engineering plans, drawings and instructions
 Operating tools and machinery and welding equipment
 Inspecting and testing welds with precision measuring instruments
 Cleaning tools, equipment and work areas

Candidate attributes –
 Proven experience in TIG welding
 A strong background in sheet metal fabrication.
 The ability to read and interpret technical drawings
 Familiarity with power tools and safe working practices.
