Position
Production Manager at a specialist manufacturer responsible for overseeing a team of 40 skilled operators who deliver high‑quality, bespoke products to stringent regulatory standards.
LocationNorwich, England, United Kingdom
Pay Range£35,000.00‑£40,000.00 (actual pay based on skills and experience)
Key Responsibilities- Plan effective use of labour to meet production targets
- Chair or attend production meetings
- Manage all manufacturing queries efficiently
- Ensure all products meet customer specifications and quality standards required by relevant codes
- Adopt cost‑conscious, first‑time methodology for quality and cost control
- Book labour and materials correctly on the ERP system
- Monitor weekly efficiency, monthly output and value added to the business, ensuring business budget requirements are achieved
Experience working in a similar engineering environment with a strong technical background.
Work ScheduleMonday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
ReportingThe Production Manager reports directly to the Operations Director and is a key member of the management team.
