TIG Welder and Fabricator role
LocationBased in Diss, Norfolk
Working HoursMonday to Friday - Full time hours
Capacity of rolePermanent position
Pay RateUp to £18.75 per hour
OverviewOur client is currently recruiting for a TIG Welder and fabricator to join their busy welding division. Candidates will need to be proficient with welding on Stainless Steel.
Responsibilities- Oversee the selection and procurement of materials and equipment required for TIG welding
- Measure and align work pieces using straightedges, clamps, and calipers
- Ensure compliance with established health/safety policies and regulations
- Carry out grinding and thermal cutting operations to obtain various textures and sizes for metal parts
- Oversee the set‑up of TIG welding equipment
- Operate power and hand tools such as arc welders, buffing machine, and scrapers
- Maintain good working knowledge of the welding characteristics of Stainless steel
- Read and interpret welding drawings
- Previous welding experience
- Ability to fabricate
- Driving licence is required due to location
- Happy to work overtime as and when required.
