Overview
We are expanding our award-winning, family business with the addition of a qualified Vehicle Mechanic to join our Car Service team at our main Ford Store in Norwich. You will work on the latest Ford range, including electric and hybrid vehicles, and receive manufacturer training to stay at the forefront of technology.
Responsibilities- Work on the latest Ford range, including electric and hybrid vehicles, with manufacturer training provided.
- Follow repair orders and diagnosis procedures accurately.
- Be flexible in approach and maintain a strong work ethic as part of a team.
- Contribute to a high-performance service environment and support the goals of the business.
- Participate in the agreed working pattern, including 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rotational basis (paid as overtime).
- Possess good diagnostic skills and enjoy problem-solving.
- Hold a current UK driver’s license.
- Hold a level 3 qualification in vehicle maintenance; level 2 qualification and less time served may be considered.
- Experience with in a similar role is preferred; previous main dealer experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Salary is based on a 42.5-hour week, with flexible options: 42.5 hours over 4.5/5 days (Mon–Fri), 40 hours over 4 days with a rolling weekday off, or lesser hours to accommodate personal responsibilities.
