Introduction
This is a hands-on mechanical role where your expertise directly supports essential Water and Wastewater Treatment operations nationwide. You will work on varied, technically interesting installations, combining factory-based builds with site delivery across live environments.

Key Responsibilities
Install, manufacture and modify mechanical and process equipment to high quality standards
Carry out fault finding and reactive repairs efficiently
Interpret drawings and specifications to deliver accurate installations
Coordinate and supervise contractor activities on site
Maintain clear communication between site and office teams
Produce site reports, diaries and photographic records
Prepare RAMS and ensure full Health and Safety compliance
Record testing data accurately on relevant documentation
Maintain clean, safe and well-organised work areas
Act as a professional ambassador, promoting positive client relationships
Qualifications & Requirements
Apprenticeship served in a mechanical or electrical discipline
Minimum 3 years mechanical installation experience in site-based environments
Knowledge of the Water or Utilities sector
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong Health and Safety awareness
PVC-U pipe fitting experience
CSCS card
Good verbal and written communication skills
City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a relevant discipline
