Job Description The Senior Solicitor will be:- Providing legal advice on a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements
- Supporting the organisation on governance, compliance and risk matters
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial documentation
- Advising senior stakeholders across academic and professional services teams
- Contributing to the development of policies, processes and best practice within the legal function
- A solicitor or equivalent with strong PQE gained in commercial law
- Experienced in drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts
- Comfortable advising senior stakeholders in a complex, multi-faceted organisation
- Able to balance risk management with pragmatic, solutions-focused advice
- Self-sufficient, collaborative and keen to work within a small in-house team
This permanent role offers a salary of up to £67,000
