Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: People Business Partner (HRBP)

Overview

Hello potential new People Business Partner. Do you believe great businesses are built through great leadership, not great policies? Are you someone who loves coaching leaders, strengthening teams, and leveraging AI and tech to help people do their best work - without becoming the “HR helpdesk”? If that sounds like you, we might just need you.

What You Will Do

As a People Partner at Quadmark, you’ll work closely with leaders to build strong, healthy, high-performing teams. This is a strategic, coaching-led role focused on enablement, not administration.

  • Coach managers on performance management, feedback, and development
  • Support leaders through complex people situations, team dynamics, and change
  • Enable managers to lead wellbeing confidently, support cases, building psychological safety and healthy team practices
  • You’ll use smart People tools and AI to support leaders at the right moment - from performance and feedback to coaching and case management - freeing you up to focus on judgement, relationships, and impact.
  • Sense people risks early using engagement insight, listening sessions, and leader context
  • Support conflict resolution and difficult conversations, including mediation-style coaching
  • Manage mid-complexity employee relations cases, escalating higher-risk matters appropriately
  • Support team design, role clarity, and organisational change
  • Enable high-quality performance cycles with fairness, clarity, and consistency
  • Partner with Product and Commercial teams to embed Quadmark’s learning products internally.
About You

You’re a confident People Partner who brings calm judgement, curiosity, and challenge in equal measure.

  • Experience in a People Partner or HR Business Partner role within a fast-paced organisation
  • A strong track record supporting leaders with performance, development, and team effectiveness
  • Experience advising through growth, change, or restructuring
  • Solid employee relations judgement without defaulting to policy
  • You’re comfortable using modern People tech and AI-enabled tools to work smarter, while keeping human judgement, empathy, and accountability firmly at the centre of your work.
  • Org structure and role clarity advisory, with strong commercial judgement (especially important in scaling/growth environments).
  • Strong coaching, listening, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and prioritising what matters most
Bonus Points If You
  • Have experience in a global B2B or tech-enabled environment
  • Have worked in consulting, professional services, or knowledge-based businesses
  • Are familiar with engagement data and insight-led action
  • Hold a coaching qualification or formal training
You’ll Need To Be Able To
  • Travel (mostly UK) two to four times per quarter and spend one day a week in Norwich

Benefits include health insurance, flexible working, 25 days leave.
