Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to step into the role of Care Group HR Business Partner. As a member of the HR Business Partner Team you will work closely with the Strategic HR Business Partners to support senior leaders and managers across the hospital. You will provide strategic HR guidance, ensure best-practice people management, and help create a positive, inclusive and high-performance culture.
Care Group HR Business Partners are critical in the operational delivery of Trust-wide strategic improvement actions and supporting Care Group performance against workforce KPIs. - + Working closely with to support the Strategic HR Business Partner (S-HRBP) and Care Group Managers in the implementation of the Trust's HR Strategy
- + To take a lead role and represent the Trust as required to ensure local delivery in relation to national, regional and local planning requirements/ systems and associated performance monitoring arrangements
- + Support Care Groups with achieving and tracking of workforce KPI (Key Performance Indicators) as required by the internal Business Planning process.
- + To provide the Care Groups with HR support in complying with the Trust's governance arrangements
- + To be involved in and lead project and working groups as needed engaging with Trade Union colleagues, for example TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) and other change programmes
- + To work closely with the Central HR team to ensure appropriate HR support for the Care Groups.
- + To provide guidance to Care Groups and Departments and advise and monitor on the application of procedures for complex discipline, grievance, conditions of service, management of sickness, capability, recruitment and selection of staff, equal opportunities and employment law, encouraging a culture of delivery through empowering managers to "know their staff" and in support of our PRIDE values.
- + Provide support and guidance in the management of complex employee relation cases taking into account best practice in relation to latest case law.
- + To participate in the identification of training and development needs within the Care Groups and Departments and the choice, and decision and creation of training solutions. To provide training solutions in relation to HR policies and issues
- + To promote the effective planning and utilisation of staffing resources within Care Groups and Directorates, including reviews of structures, skill mix, etc., Visa and Immigration

- Travelling to work
- Staff parking is available onsite; however, this is limited during core working hours. We have more capacity in the evening and at weekends and can usually provide spaces during those hours.
- We look to allocate these spaces fairly. Our Travel Office have a set of criteria that staff must meet in order to qualify. If you qualify for a space, you may be placed on a waiting list if we are at full capacity.
- The NNUH is served by a number of public buses, and we offer generously discounted monthly passes with First Bus & Konect.
- The Costessey Park and Ride runs regularly each day from 06:30 (from P&R) to 20:45 (from NNUH) and this service is free for NHS staff. There is a regular Thickthorn P&R service as well which is free. Applications to the Travel Office are required for this service. We also have a discounted service from the airport P&R if you purchase a bundle.
