Senior People and Culture Advisor

Overview

Norfolk & Waveney Mind is recruiting a Senior People & Culture Advisor for a full‑time position of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:30–4:30 or 9:00–5:00). The annual salary is £39,745. The role will shape a positive future for the charity by delivering expert HR guidance, leading complex employee relations cases, and supporting managers to foster an inclusive, high‑performing culture.

• Provide expert HR advice and support to managers and staff across the charity.
• Lead on complex employee relations cases and ensure policy compliance.
• Influence strategic People & Culture initiatives, using HR data to drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to organisation‑wide projects, support change programmes, and work closely with the Learning & Development team to strengthen management capability.

• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent, and 5+ years of senior HR advisory experience.
• Strong generalist background with experience managing complex ER cases.
• Up‑to‑date employment law knowledge and experience supervising HR staff.
• Commitment to staff wellbeing and understanding of challenges in the charity sector.
• Experience in multi‑agency environments and with diverse stakeholders.
