A Vacancy at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Exciting changes have happened at NNUH by the opening of the largest on‑site expansion for Interventional Radiology, quadrupling our Interventional Radiology department suite complex, and we are looking for an experienced Nurse, Operating Department Practitioner or Paramedic to join our team on a fixed‑term secondment.
OverviewThe Norfolk Centre for Interventional Radiology (NCIR) is a self‑contained unit, which provides dedicated reception, pre‑operative assessment rooms alongside a 16‑bed recovery with state‑of‑the‑art monitoring installed. The area also incorporates four state‑of‑the‑art Interventional Radiology theatre suites which house two state‑of‑the‑art Siemens Pheno systems. We are the only Interventional Radiology unit in the UK to have two Pheno systems. This means an expansion of all the procedures we currently perform, especially the wide range of vascular and non‑vascular interventional procedures, putting us at the cutting edge of IR developments.
