We are looking for an experienced and motivated Radiology Manager to lead our radiology service and ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging services for patients and consultants. This is an exciting opportunity to join Spire Healthcare and play a key role in driving excellence, innovation, and patient care within our imaging department.
Main duties of the jobWork as the Head of Department reporting into the Director of Clinical Services. Be responsible for championing, leading and inspiring the radiology team; plan, allocate, assess and provide feedback to team members; maintain and support the effective use of physical and financial resources; implement and monitor working processes and policies; delegate tasks to team members appropriately; manage the Radiology team to ensure accurate staffing in order to meet patient needs;
develop a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security; lead on the implementation of IRMER regulations within the hospital; enable people to exercise their rights and promote their equality and diversity; manage the relationships with the Consultant Radiologists; be responsible for all clinical governance and audit in the department.

Duties and responsibilities:
As Head of Department reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, you will champion, lead, and inspire the radiology team while ensuring the highest standards of patient care. You will be responsible for planning, allocating, and assessing work, providing constructive feedback to team members, and maintaining the effective use of physical and financial resources. This role involves implementing and monitoring departmental processes and policies, delegating tasks appropriately, and managing staffing levels to meet patient needs.
You will foster a positive working environment that prioritises health, safety and security, and lead on the implementation of IRMER regulations within the hospital. Additionally, you will promote equality, diversity, and patient rights, manage relationships with Consultant Radiologists, and take full responsibility for clinical governance and audit within the department.

- BSc Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
- Experience of leading teams to success in the areas listed above
- MRI experience would be preferable
