Bank Support Worker

Earn £12.60 per hour, we pay £50 per sleep in shift and offer great benefits. Flexible Work, hours to suit you. Locations:
Norwich, Wymondham, Bury St Edmunds.

Working with customers who have experienced homelessness with a variety of support needs including but not limited to substance misuse, offending, physical and mental health.

You will assist customers with their practical, daily living tasks, work through support plans, and help them achieve independence.

Shifts may include sleep‑in overnight support or day shifts with a relaxed atmosphere.

You will help vulnerable customers in accommodation‑based services, a registered care home or in community/home‑based settings.

• Enjoyment working with a range of customers.
• Flexibility to work at short notice, as you’ll pick your next shift.
• Experience as a support worker in a similar environment.
• A positive, can‑do and caring attitude, with the desire to make a difference in customers’ lives.
• Experience of working with support plans, recording, and using information concisely and effectively.
• Ability to use technology for creating and updating support plans, completing mandatory learning and keeping in touch with colleagues.

To work across the central region (Norwich/Wymondham/Bury St Edmunds) you’ll need a valid driving licence and a vehicle insured for business purposes. Mileage will be paid.

You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.

We’re a living wage employer. On top of the fair hourly rate you receive holiday pay. You’ll be paid weekly, one week in arrears from when you worked.
