Main duties of the job

Assisting the Imaging team in the provision of exemplary patient care Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients

Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient's health and well-being to the appropriate person

Admin support - Booking patients on to our system

Support with the ultrasound lists for our consultants

Support MRI Radiographers where required ensuring safety at all times

Job responsibilities

Radiology Assistant | HCA | Norwich | Permanent, Full-time |Spire Norwich has an exciting opportunity to join the imaging team as a Radiology Assistant.

Spire Norwich Hospital holds a long-standing reputation for providing high quality, comprehensive private hospital care. Our facilities are excellent and the hospital is staffed by a valued team of highly skilled professionals. We have 4 theatres, 2 wards, comprising of 50 beds, and deliver a range of outpatient services through our busy and dynamic outpatient and diagnostic imaging departments providing a progressive and stimulating environment for our highly motivated team.

Duties and responsibilities
- Assisting the Imaging team in the provision of exemplary patient care
- Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
- Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient's health and well-being to the appropriate person
- Admin support - Booking patients on to our system
- Support with the ultrasound lists for our consultants
- Support MRI Radiographers where required ensuring safety at all times

Who we're looking for
- Previous experience of working as a HCA/Support Worker
- Has worked in a hospital setting desirable but not essential
- Experience or knowledge of imaging desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential- NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential- A good knowledge of software i.e Outlook, Excel, Word along with training on our booking system
- Compassionate
- An individual dedicated to providing exceptional service and demonstrating a strong commitment to patient care

Hours:

Flexible working across 6 days Monday - Saturday 7.5 hour shifts with some late evening shifts due to later patient appointments within the week.
