At Practice Plus Group, our pharmacy teams ensure medicines optimization is embedded into everyday practice. The primary focus of the work will be to provide a dispensary and wing-based clinical pharmacy service and collaborate with the Lead Pharmacist in offering medicines management support to various wings within HMP Bure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service.
  • Working closely with the Head of Healthcare and the multidisciplinary team to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Providing daily expert advice on pharmaceutical matters.
  • Ensuring the delivery of a safe yet modern medicines management service to prisoners.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Registered Pharmacist with relevant qualifications and licensure.
  • Previous experience in a clinical pharmacy setting, preferably within a secure environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services.
