Job DescriptionThe Treasury Manager – Europe will be a key member of the corporate finance team and will report to the Corporate VP & Treasurer. This highly visible position will be responsible for overseeing treasury functions in the region including cash flow, managing financial risks, and developing strategies to optimise liquidity by monitoring daily operations, forecasting cash needs, managing banking relationships, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations, all while aiming to minimise financial risk and maintain a healthy capital structure.
Keyresponsibilities
- Prepare cash flow forecasts, monitor daily cash positions and make recommendations to optimise liquidity.
- Manage international banking infrastructures including cash pools.
- Responsible for interest and debt analysis, including debt covenant compliance reporting.
- Manage banking relationships, fee structures and financial service agreements.
- Make recommendations to manage foreign currency exposures.
- Coordinate issuance of letters of credit and performance bonds.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls related to treasury operations.
- Bachelor’s degree. A focus in finance, accounting or economics is preferable.
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation preferred.
- 5+ years of experience managing Treasury operations.
- Experience managing investments and working in a multi-currency environment.
- Strong understanding of cash management, debt financing, and liquidity strategies.
- Familiarity with banking relationships, financial instruments, and risk mitigation strategies including insurance program.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Comfortable communicating with management and across departments globally.
- Ability to undertake multiple tasks at the same time without losing focus.
- Travel potential up to 10%.
