Civil Engineer (Assistant Design Manager) - Infrastructure

Purpose of the role:

As a Civil Engineer, you will join the Design and Quality team to help us in delivering major improvements to the A47 at Tuddenham in Norwich for our client National Highways. This is a project that will cut congestion, improve safety, and boost growth across the region.

What you will be doing:

  • Prepare red line mark ups in coordination with the delivery team and help to manage the as-built process to ensure all design changes are captured.
  • Review designs for constructability and compliance with technical standards in advance of construction works.
  • Liaise with the designers to support production of the Geotechnical Feedback Report.
  • Assist with preparation and organisation of all design and quality information for OfT and handover.
  • Assist with the management of PCF Products in coordination with the Client and designers.

About you:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Graduate Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers.
  • Good general engineering knowledge, with experience reading and interpreting design documentation.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
