Therole
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in leading and delivering civil engineering projects. You’ll collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors, ensuring designs are practical, sustainable, and compliant with industry standards.
Key responsibilities- Lead the design and delivery of civil engineering projects (infrastructure, drainage, highways, flood risk).
- Manage project teams and mentor junior engineers.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Contribute to business development and support bids/tenders.
- We’re seeking someone with strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for problem‑solving.
- Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it.
- Proven experience in infrastructure design (drainage, highways, earthworks).
- Proficiency in industry‑standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Micro Drainage).
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff.
