The RoleYou'll support pupils with a range of complex needs - including autism, physical disabilities, and communication challenges - working closely with teachers and specialists to deliver personalised support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 and small group support
- Assist with Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Support students with personal care and mobility
- Help create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Strong communication skills
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Teaching Assistant Level 2 /
3) are desirable but not essential - Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
