We are seeking committed, adaptable individuals to work as Unqualified Teaching Assistants in high‑tempo, challenging school settings across Greater Norwich and the surrounding areas. These schools support pupils with a range of learning, social and behavioural needs and require adults who bring excellent classroom management skills, a robust mindset and a genuine can‑do attitude every single day.
Driving RequirementYou must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle. The role involves travelling independently between schools, often at short notice, so reliability and flexibility are essential.
Role- Supporting pupils with complex academic, emotional and behavioural needs in fast‑moving classroom environments.
- Helping implement structured, personalised strategies to improve behaviour, engagement and learning outcomes.
- Assisting with core subjects including literacy and numeracy.
- Managing challenging behaviour positively and consistently, using clear boundaries and calm communication.
- Contributing to a structured, safe and purposeful learning environment where students can succeed.
- Is confident working in high‑pressure, high‑energy school settings.
- Has strong classroom presence and behaviour‑management instincts.
- Remains calm, resilient and solution‑focused when faced with challenges.
- Shows initiative, flexibility and a proactive, can‑do approach.
- Builds respectful, trusting relationships with students and staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
