Business Analyst

We are seeking a Business Analyst to work in Norwich on a hybrid basis 2/3 days a week in the office. The Business analyst will shape and define business problems, opportunities and associated requirements, covering people, processes and technologies.

• Ensuring solutions resolve the business problem and setting out impacts and risks
• Delivering the business analysis activities on projects and programmes
• Alignment of the proposed and chosen solutions with business needs
• Building relationships with customers and stakeholders, SME’s, Product Owners, Scrum Masters etc.

• Experience in at least ONE area of insurance (e.g. GI, Commercial Insurance, Speciality Insurance, Protection, Life/Pensions, Wealth Management, Healthcare)
• Experience of UK Insurance Market – Preferable
• Ability to capture requirement & define and work within scope
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Strong analysis skills (ability to analyse data to derive actionable insights, identify trends, and support decision‑making processes)
• Strong gap analysis skills (identify inefficiencies s or gaps/issues with existing processes)
• Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, controls etc. based upon the type of project being worked on.
• Excellent facilitation skills - planning and conducting workshops
• Excellent Stakeholder Management skills
• Able to drive projects forward without being prompted
• Experience of all aspects of Agile delivery involving a BA i.e. Scrum and Kanban, Jira and Confluence, concept of role of BA in an Agile project, ceremonies & responsibilities
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Applications and at least one visual design application (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio etc.)
• Maintaining appropriate artefacts and documentation depending upon the type of project (Business Requirement Document, JIRA Epic/Feature etc.)
• Experience of working with developers and testers to ensure that they understand requirements and supporting them through delivery process
