Stadler Rail Service UK (SRSUK) are looking to recruit a Business Support Coordinator, reporting into the Commercial Manager. The Business Support Coordinator will be responsible for providing effective administrative support to depot based employees, working as part of a centralised administration function ensuring consistency across site processes. The post holder will also be responsible for first-line coordination of facilities and payroll tasks, as well as supporting with the day‑to‑day running of the depot.

The Business Support Coordinator provides site‑wide operational support, managing Calitime (time and attendance management system) processes, contractor control, staff onboarding, asset coordination, internal communications, and general business administration. It ensures accurate timekeeping, smooth contractor access, effective induction and onboarding, organised asset and uniform services, and clear internal updates, while assisting wider teams with events, signage, visits, room bookings, and records. Duties may expand in line with capability.
Main Tasks:Calitime:
- Inputting of Annual Leave for non‑management staff
- Monthly reconciliation for pay‑run
- Daily hours checks for all staff to ensure accuracy
- 1st point of contact for Calitime enquiries on site
- Issuing of Calitime cards
- Site inductions and paperwork related to this
- Escorting visitors where/when required
- Temporary road data key/organising replacements
- Primary point of contact for Greater Anglia (GA) Contractor Controller on site
- New Staff onboarding (IT account, equipment, badges, inductions)
- Duty rail passes
- Point of contact for uniform laundering services
- Management of locker
- Collation and publication of the monthly site communications bulletin
- Support to other business areas with posters/signage etc
- Management of the paper records archive
This is not an exclusive list of tasks and the postholder may be asked to undertake additional tasks that they are able and competent.
Skills and ExperienceEssential:
- Good general standard of education to GCSE A-C / 9-4 level
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work independently when needed
- Excellent IT skills
- Recognised business administration qualification
- Experience working with time and attendance asset management systems
