This is a fantastic role for an Accounts Assistant looking to gain broad experience across accounts and tax preparation within an established team, whilst building lasting client relationships. You'll join a collaborative team environment, working closely with experienced Seniors and Managers who will support you in developing your technical skills and confidence.

• Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and tax returns for a varied client base.
• Support with VAT returns and management accounts.
• Carry out bookkeeping duties, ensuring financial records are accurate and compliant.
• Liaise directly with clients, answering queries and resolving issues.
• Work alongside senior accountants, assisting with client advisory projects.

• Circa 2 years  minimum experience within a practice environment.
• Candidates from industry will be considered, but you must be motivated to develop your career in practice and enjoy working with local clients.
• AAT Level 4 qualified or currently working towards.
• Experience using Xero or similar cloud-based accounting software would be advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
