Audit Senior

The Role

A highly impressive, progressive Top 50 accountancy firm is seeking an Audit Senior to join its Corporate Audit & Advisory team in Norwich.

This is a hands-on audit role offering responsibility for leading audits end-to-end, supervising junior team members, and working closely with Managers and Partners across a varied client base. The firm operates modern systems, specialist teams across Audit, Accounts and Tax, and offers genuine flexibility through hybrid working and annualised hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading audits from planning through to completion

• Preparing audit plans and identifying audit and fraud risks

• Overseeing audit fieldwork and completion

• Preparing and reviewing audit documentation and statutory accounts

• Managing audit budgets, timescales and quality

• Delegating work to junior team members and providing coaching

• Reviewing work and delivering timely feedback

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

• Acting as an ambassador for the firm

• Using audit software including Case Ware

Ideal Background

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)

• Strong UK practice audit experience

• Confident leading audits and supervising junior staff

• Good working knowledge of FRS 102

• Organised, commercial and client-focused approach

• Comfortable managing deadlines and priorities
