Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision;
Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, common areas, and perimeter locations such as walkways and parking areas;
Monitor access points for authorized entry, assist with visitor direction and/or sign-in procedures as required, and report suspicious activity and maintenance concerns;
Observe and report security-related hazards, policy violations, and unusual conditions using written reports and/or electronic reporting systems
