* Responsibilities include:

* Clearly and accurately documents pertinent information in the patient's medical record. Consistently demonstrates effective documentation practices and develops strategies to ensure complete documentation of patient care
* Completes timely and ongoing patient assessments and responses to treatments serving as a key participant on the treatment team
* Works closely with APRNs and Doctors to ensure appropriate and prescribed treatment plans are followed
* Oversee triage responsibilities when scheduled
* Deliver teaches to patients on a variety of different subject matters and medication procedures
* Administer chemotherapy administration as well as immunotherapy, intravenous gamma globulin, iron infusions and growth factor support
** Ideal candidates have:
*** Current RN license through the state of CT
* Previous experience accessing ports and placing IV lines
* Previous experience in Oncology and working with an oncology EMR preferred
* Associate's Degree in Nursing required
* Ability to stand for the duration of shift and move quickly throughout the infusion center locations:
