DESCRIPTION:
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry
Location: Norwich, CT 06360
Shift: Night Shift – 3x12s
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment
- Provide direct nursing care to telemetry patients in accordance with facility policies
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and document care accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergency situations
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
- Maintain patient safety and infection control standards
- Active RN license (CT state)
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent Telemetry experience
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
- Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours)
- Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills
