Job Overview
This is a travel role - candidates need their own reliable car and be okay with traveling to different sites. The position is part of a Win 11 Deployment project (travel required). The project is ongoing through June 2026 and involves upgrading about 5‑6,000 devices across hospital and ambulatory sites. Deployment will be via thumb drive and automated/scripted processes. Candidates must meet all medical compliance for a hospital (drug, BG, medical, and vaccination).
The role is contract only until all devices are deployed (expected to finish in December). Contractors will be deployed both to multiple regions and sites.
- Deploy Windows 11 to 5‑6,000 devices via thumb drive and automated/scripted methods.
- Assist in imaging and deployment processes.
- Travel to various sites as required.
- Complete the project as a contractor, with expected end date December 2025.
- Hardware support experience
- Proficiency with Windows 10, Windows 11, desktop
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Must meet drug, BG, medical, and vaccination requirements
- Travel availability and own vehicle
- 20 contractors needed for the Windows 11 deployment.
- Target start date: end of September 2025.
- One round virtual screening call (10‑15 minutes).
- Contract position based out of Norwich, CT.
- Pay range: $18.00–$22.00/hr.
- Workplace type: fully onsite in Norwich, CT.
