Pro Health is seeking an Associate Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing Family Medicine team.

8-hour shift Monday – Friday between 7am – 6:15pm EST; may need to provide coverage for other nearby locations

599 Farmington Avenue, Suite 101, Farmington, CT

• Schedule and triage appointment requests for urgency according to approved protocols consistent with Pro Health's Appointment and Scheduling Guidelines
• Use call processing and other applicable functionality in the EHR to take messages and communicate with clinicians
• Greet patients and conduct check-in process
• Monitor daily reminder call logs to reschedule appointments as needed
• Scan and index documents into the EHR; ensure that necessary documents, lab results, etc. are available in advance of patient visits
• Close payment batch(es) at the end of each shift, assemble and balance batch(es) according to Pro Health cash control procedures
• Maintain knowledge of current OSHA, HIPAA, and Pro Health policies
• Assist coworkers as needed to ensure smooth office operation and delivery of excellent service through teamwork
• Provide coverage at other Pro Health locations on an ad hoc basis
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
• 1+ years of customer service, healthcare, and/or administrative experience
• Intermediate level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work flexible schedule between 7:00am - 6:15pm EST
• Access to reliable transportation and active valid US driver's license to provide coverage as needed to other office locations

• Experience working in a primary care setting
• Experience working with Epic
• Experience working with an electronic health record
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Office Administrative / Receptionist / Clerical experience in a medical environment
• Customer service experience in retail, hospitality, etc.
• Knowledge of ICD - 10 and CPT coding

• Ability to work independently and maintain good judgment and accountability
• Demonstrated ability to work well with health care providers
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet all deadlines
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying information in a manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand and interpret information from others
