** Job Summary
** Perform engineering work requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks. Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
*** Assist with validation activities such as IQ/OQ/PQ testing for new mold tools or equipment + Measure parts, perform functional testing, perform data analysis, and write qualification report
* 5S Production Floor + Tape out area using 5S principles for proper flow and safety in production. + Set up new conveyor systems for use in production. + Determine ways to reduce conversion costs + Organize WIP and Finished Goods areas
* Check 2D and 3D engineering drawings to ensure compliance to Nordson standards. Verify with molded parts that drawings are correct
* Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
* Prepare and update work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation.
* Develop Bill of Materials and manufacturing routings
* Perform other duties as assigned.
** Education and Experience Requirements
** Must be currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in an engineering field

* Skills and Abilities
*
* • Proficient in 3D CAD Design software (Solid Works preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Basic knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning software (SAP and IQMS preferred)
• Willing to be hands on in the manufacturing facility
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Self-Motivated and the ability to multitask
