Job Summary

We are currently seeking an Environmental Laboratory Intern for Fall Semester 2024
. This position is part-time and 100% onsite located in Norwell, MA
.

Responsibilities
  • Initiate and perform sample processing following written SOPs and QAPPs
  • Conduct and document appropriate quality control and assurance procedures for monitoring and evaluating the quality of sample preparation procedures
  • Enter data and observations into Laboratory Information Management System
  • Experience with extractions of PFAS samples
  • Analysis of environmental PFAS samples by LC/MS/MS
Key Qualifications
  • Must be currently pursuing bachelor’s or master's degree in Chemistry or in an environmental‑related field with at least 18 months of undergraduate work completed.
  • Related work experience (Paid or unpaid) in the environmental chemistry/biology discipline.
  • Experience working in a laboratory, including preparing, conducting, and documenting tests.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Commitment to excellence.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to take on technical challenges.
  • Must be available to work up to 20 hours/week during business office/lab hours.
  • Must be U.S. Person by definition of U.S. export laws
