Design Draftsman

Akron, OH (12 months, onsite, local candidates only)

Assist current engineering technicians.

Create inspection packets, review checklists, print and assemble folders required for the inspection team.

Learn SAP; create VCU's for all types of transmission, storage and gathering, and high to low-pressure distribution projects.

Record research including field notes, property records, digital (scanned) records, and use the GIS system called SAMS.

Help create electronic requests to vendors for basemaps and pipeline design.

Submit online requests for environmental and land.

Produce/update design drawings for gas pipeline projects and research and provide company records to help produce project folders.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience.
• AutoCAD drafting/design.
• Proficient in SAP, Microsoft tools, and Excel.
• Knowledge of gas/utility/construction.

Hourly: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications and skills.
