Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

American Excelsior Company is seeking a Raker Saw Operator to join our 2nd Shift (M-F 1:30pm-10:00pm) Foam Fabrication team. • Uses tape measurer frequently & accurately down to 1/16 of an inch
• Sets up and adjusts large foam blocks or sheets to be cut
• May also operate horizontal skiver saw
• Reads and carries out job orders and carefully and safely operates saw
• Responsible for individual quality standards at all times
• Follows Company established policies and safety procedures
• Follows directions/instructions from immediate supervisor and safely and effectively applies those instructions

• Experience with industrial equipment
• Strong math skills
• Ability to work with measurement devices (tape measure or ruler)
• Ability to work with little supervision
• Ability to work on a manufacturing team
• Solid computer skills
• Print reading experience preferred
• Basic data entry of production information
• Ability to read and follow work instructions

• Starting wage is $20.15 per hour
• Additional $1.50 per hour shift premium for 2nd shift
