Responsibilities
Hybrid: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. A rapidly growing financial technology company in the Phoenix area is seeking a Director of Data Intelligence and Analytics to lead the evolution of its data and software capabilities. This strategic, high visibility role blends technology leadership, modern architecture, and enterprise transformation. As a senior technology leader, you will define and guide the organization's strategy for modern data and software platforms, ensuring all initiatives directly support business objectives.
You will architect secure, scalable systems built on modern technologies such as .NET, Python, Azure, and cloud native patterns including microservices, API first development, and real time data processing to accelerate digital transformation across the enterprise. You will lead efforts in Agile delivery, Dev Ops, CI/CD, and engineering best practices, enabling faster execution, greater reliability, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Your leadership will drive cloud migrations, legacy modernization, automation initiatives, and the adoption of next generation data capabilities. In this position, you will design and oversee cutting edge data architectures that power high volume data pipelines, real time insights, and advanced analytics. These platforms will support AI/ML, predictive modeling, and intelligent automation that strengthen decision making and enhance the customer experience.
Leveraging tools such as Microsoft SQL, Postgre
SQL, Tableau, Power BI, R, and Python, you will help the organization translate data into actionable business outcomes. You will mentor and develop cross functional engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. You will also oversee program execution, including vendor management, budgeting, and resource planning.
- Provide strategic leadership for data intelligence and analytics initiatives aligned to business objectives.
- Architect secure, scalable data and software platforms using modern technologies and cloud-native patterns.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor software and data engineers; manage vendor relationships, budgeting, and resource planning.
- Proven experience leading data-driven initiatives that deliver measurable business results.
