About the TeamWe are seeking a talented Business Development Executive to join our team and help us take our trade shows (Vision Expo, JCK, National Hardware Show, PGA Show, Bar Convent Brooklyn, and many more) to the next level.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and developing creative solutions to meet their needs. You will work closely with our marketing, customer success, and operations teams to support you and your clients’ needs.
Responsibilities- Respond to inbound leads in a quick timely manner
- Incorporate value-based selling in customer conversations
- Maintain pipeline and log activity appropriately in Salesforce
- Identify the needs and challenges of the prospective customer to customize package
- Prospect new accounts via cold call, email, and social strategies (Linked In Sales Navigator)
- Utilize sales strategies and available sales toolsto meet revenue targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their success and satisfaction
- Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing deals
- Monitor and report on market trends and competitor activity
- Participate in trade shows and industry events to build brand awareness and generate leads
- Have experience in business development or sales, preferably in the trade show industry
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Possess excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Have excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Have an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to learn and grow
- Demonstrate a positive attitude with a willingness to accept constructive criticism and implement change
U.S. National Base Pay Range: $49,200 - $82,100. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. Pay mix between base and variable pay varies based on sales role; please discuss with the recruiter.
