**** position summary:
** this position is responsible for processing all guest and patron reservations at the pro shop.
** primary duties and responsibilities****:
** includes but not limited to:
* creates and processes tee times for all patrons
* coordinates tee times with the starter
* assists customers and professional staff in golf shop merchandise sales
** secondary duties and responsibilities:
*** handles incoming phone calls
* assists patrons in the golf pro shop
* assists with tournament play, as needed
** minimum education and qualifications:
*** high school diploma or equivalent
* one year of experience at a golf course
* a working knowledge of the game of golf
* a valid driver’s license
** competencies:
** incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
* good written and verbal communication skills
* good organizational and multi-tasking skills
* excellent customer service and telephone skills
** training requirements:
*** working knowledge of the joanas golf management system
* working knowledge of the rules and regulations of the game of golf
** physical demands and work environment:
*** must be able to stand for long periods of time
* must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
* must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
